The children in Y1 have really enjoyed healthy week. We have had visitors teaching us to learn new skills such as Taekwondo and Basketball. We’ve been discussing how to keep ourselves healthy such as eating “5 a day”, the importance of sleep, how to keep ourselves clean and also learning about our mental health. We made positive rainbows to remind ourselves of why we are special. We also took part in fruit and vegetable tasting trying lots of new food. Today we have designed, made and evaluated our healthy kebabs. They were delicious!
