We were all treated to some live music this morning thanks to members of Stannington Brass Band.
We learned about the different types of instruments in the band, how they make different notes and how to make a sound using vibration. We were also delighted to listen to three different pieces of music and discovered the band has won several trophies! The marching piece was very loud in our school hall so we covered our ears at first.
