We work in close partnership with and feel well supported by our parents. The governors are active in the life of the school. We pride ourselves on our friendly, welcoming ethos.
We are part of Peak Edge Academy Trust and work closely with the other schools in our Trust.
The curriculum we provide at Stannington Infant School is designed so that all children develop the curiosity, confidence and independence to attain highly.
The school was built in 1910 and benefits from a pleasant and rich environment, including a very large playing field and a wonderful school garden.

Stannington Bees
We have introduced Bee keeping to our outdoor learning curriculum. The children are 'hands on' looking after our hive. The children have named our outdoor classroom 'Honey House'

Macmillan Coffee Morning
Thank you for everybody that attended and donated towards our Macmillan coffee morning. We had a lovely morning eating cake and drinking tea whilst raising money for charity. A big thank you to Mrs Leaf and Mrs Turner!
