As part of our Sensational Start we have been experimenting to see which ice cube would melt the quickest. We put 1 ice cube outside in the sunshine, 1 ice cube inside the classroom and 1 in a bucket of water. We made predictions about which we thought would melt the quickest. The first ice cube to melt was the one in the bucket of water, then the ice cube outside and finally the one in the classroom. We had a great surprise when they had melted as there were animals hidden inside. We found a polar bear, a penguin and a seal. As part of our topic this half term we will be looking at the Polar Regions.
