Year 2 have been reading the story of Sir Scallwag and how he overcame the swap trolls of Stinky Bottom. To celebrate the end of our work we visited the Crucible theatre to take part in Music in the Round’s performance of the story.
Polly Ives came into school to teach us the songs we would be singing on the day! One of our favourite songs was called ‘Doughnuts and Baked Beans’, after King Colin’s favourite food.
We loved listening to all the different type of instruments in the orchestra and had great fun joining in with schools from all over the city.
