Next week we are preparing for the General Election by learning about the process of an election. One child from each Year 2 class will become the Prime Minister of Stannington Infant School for the day. We are working in parties to draw up our own manifestos. The children will be preparing their campaigns and will present their speeches to the rest of the class on Thursday 12th December. After hearing each party’s speech, we will vote for our Prime Minister, results will be revealed on Friday 13th December with duties been carried out the following week. The children are very excited about their learning and we look forward to meeting our new Prime Minister.
