This week the Y2 classes visited the Millennium Galleries. They got the bus into the city centre and went to see an exhibition by James Green called Donkey Nonsense. James Green uses printing to make his art and all the pictures in the exhibition had a donkey in them. The children spent time drawing their favourite prints. They looked carefully at them and tried to use the same colours. After visiting the Galleries they had a picnic lunch in the Winter Gardens before returning to school.
