On Wednesday 7th October we had a visit from The History Van. We had great fun learning about Toys from the past. We stepped back in time and visited a toy shop from Victorian Times. We played with lots of toys we had never played with before and not one of them was made from plastic!! We played skittles, hoop and stick, marbles and tried to work out how Jacob’s Ladder works. Later in the day we learned all about the very first Teddy bears and why they are called Teddy Bears. We made peg dolls and spinning tops. Have you ever written with a fountain pen? We have and it is not as easy as it looks!!!
