This term Year 2 are learning about the Congo River Basin Rainforest in Africa. As part of our learning we went on a trip to the Botanical Gardens to explore the tropical plants that grow in the gardens and inside the Glasshouse. The children had a lovely time observing and drawing the different plants, as well as talking about where in the World they came from. Class 5 even managed to sneak in a visit to the Botanical Bear!
