On Thursday 6th February 2014 at Christ Church Stannington, a musical collaboration took place involving three local schools; Stannington Infant School, Nook Lane Junior School and Bradfield Comprehensive.
Inspired by recently attending the Sheffield Arena with Young Voices both children from Nook Lane and Stannington Infant Schools sang a variety of songs from the concert including ‘Mr Blue Sky’, ‘Lean on Me’ and a Folk song Medley. The Children from Bradfield School also joined us, singing their own choice of songs; ‘Read all about it’ and ‘Rollin in the Deep’.
It was a great opportunity to celebrate the children’s love of singing and the evening was well received by parents and school governors together with members of the local community.
