Another fantastic performance by the Y2 children of Stannington Infant School at the Young Voices concert.
Feedback from parents has been tremendous.
**** has been excited about Young Voices ever since he was first told about it. He has loved listening to and practising the songs at school. **** enjoyed the performance at the Arena, saying”it’s the best thing I’ve ever done. I want to do it again!” He also says “It was really brilliant!” From a parent’s perspective it’s great to see him practise and achieve something. It’s also helped his singing!
*** said “I loved it. It was very exciting and the best thing ever” We (the parents) thought it was a really good event for us too! The event ran really smoothly and integrated the children’s singing with the other acts very effectively. The standard of the whole event was extremely professional. It was great to see the teachers enjoying it too – many thanks to them for such enthusiasm and commitment to make it happen. I really enjoyed having the music we could sing along to in the car – a way to share musical learning through the year!!!
In the words of ***; “It was epic, I loved all of it and it was the best thing we have ever done”. We would like to thank all the staff involved for giving up their own time. Young Voices is such a fantastic event and it was clear to see all the children really enjoyed it and put a lot of effort into learning the words and actions. The whole thing is so well organised and an amazing experience for children and parents. Thank you.
**** loved being part of Young Voices. He said it was awesome! He was particularly pleased that Mrs Gillott was able to come and be part of it. We feel this was an amazing opportunity for him – something we would never had dreamed of at 7 years old! Thank you to everyone involved for the hard work and time they put into getting the children there and part of it.
****** had the most amazing time. She commented that it was the best night of her life. Personally I would like to say a big thank you to the staff for looking after the kids so well, for all the hard work you put in teaching them the songs and for making the experience so special. As a parent I was super proud – I hope as teachers you were too!
“I thought it was amazing, wait, no I can’t put it into words”. ***** has absolutely loved being involved in Young Voices – thanks so much for all your time and hard work involved in getting all the children ready! It’s a brilliant experience, I’m so glad Stannington Infants gets involved!!
****** has told me that it was really good and she loved all the flashing lights. She loved the experience and I know she would love to do it again next year. The week before she was so excited about it getting to Friday, she talked about it every day, telling me how many days were left. All in all I know she just loved the whole experience and I’m very proud of her.
**** says she had a lovely time. Her favourite part was the pop medley. Both myself and her dad, nanny and Aunty loved the evening. It was very well organised and lots of fun to be part of. Thank you.
