Learning about Africa
This week we have had lots of fun learning about Africa. We have been looking at the physical landscapes of Africa and we created our own maps.

The bees are very happy!
Mrs Grayson and Mrs Simpson have been very busy looking after our bees at school. We now have two hives and are waiting for a new queen to hatch. Fingers crossed for some honey soon!

Bee Inspection
The bees have passed the inspection with flying colours. They are all healthy and were very friendly. We have started to collect wax to make candles or handcream!
Aboriginal Art
The children in school today have created their own Aboriginal inspired art work.
Searching for Queen Cells
The children in school have been to our apiary today searching for queen cells and signs of swarming. Our bees are really healthy and starting to make some honey!!
World Book Day 2020
